REPORTS TO: Executive Director

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Lead the spiritual life of the campus. Foster a school culture which reflects Doulos mission, code of character and values. Oversees curricular and co-curricular student discipleship programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferably a Master’s degree from recognized college or university in divinity, counseling, ministry or related field with up to date credentials.
  • Possess a personal and mature relationship with Jesus Christ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee Chapel program
      • Plan and implement weekly Secondary Chapel
      • Plan and implement weekly Elementary Chapel
      • Plan and implement quarterly All-School Chapel

Oversee Small Group program

      • Plan and implement weekly Small Groups for secondary students
      • Develop Small Group goals and structure
      • Recruit, train, and evaluate discipleship group leaders

Oversee Spiritual Assessments

      • Administer Spiritual Assessment tool 1-2 times per school year
      • Confidentially keep records of Spiritual Assessment results
      • Connect mentors for follow-up for students who elect to put their name on the Spiritual Assessment
      • Evaluate success of the Spiritual Assessment Tool

Create and Oversee Student Chaplain program

      • Develop and maintain Student Chaplain program goals and structure
      • Recruit, train, and evaluate Student Chaplains
      • Evaluate success toward program goals

Oversee Staff Devos

      • Work with Executive Director, Principal and VPs in setting the spiritual theme for the year
      • Plan out the content that will be covered throughout the year during each staff devo
      • Work together with other staff in creating a rotating schedule of staff who desire/would be willing to lead staff devos
      • Schedule staff who will be leading worship during staff devos

Be available for spiritual counseling for staff
